DescriptionLocation Join us for a slice of pizza and cookies beginning at 12:00 p.m. Mortgages with a Mission: Minnesota Housing's Real Estate Program course is designed to educate real estate agents and brokers about Minnesota Housing Finance Agency and the loan programs available to help home buyers across the state realize the dream of home ownership. We discuss our first-time home buyer (Start Up), non- first-time home buyer (Step Up) and Home Improvement (Fix Up) loan programs. Participants will learn who Minnesota Housing is, our mission and who we serve. We cover all the down payment /closing costs loan programs, and the highlights of each. Examples and exercises provided will give attendees a better understanding of who is a good candidate for a Minnesota Housing loan. Finally, they will get a better understanding that Minnesota Housing sets qualified buyers up for successful home ownership. An overview of additional resources available through Minnesota Housing will be included. This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 2 real estate continuing education credits. This course is being offered at the Minneapolis Area REALTOR® Association in partnership with Minnesota Housing (they are the approved CE provider).
