DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy This one-hour course reviews the changes to the 2026 Minnesota REALTORS® forms effective August 1, 2026, with a focus on practical application for Minnesota real estate licensees. The course covers key updates to residential and commercial transaction forms, including purchase agreements, amendments, common interest community disclosures, well water inspection language, seller disclosure updates, solar power system disclosures, agent material fact disclosures, referral agreements, and related risk-management considerations. Licensees will learn how the updated forms affect transaction documentation, disclosure obligations, contingency language, timeline calculation, and broker/agent workflow. The course is designed to help agents identify when to use updated or newly created forms, understand the purpose of the changes, and reduce avoidable transaction risk through better form selection and documentation practices. Learning Objectives By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify the major 2026 Minnesota REALTORS® residential and commercial forms changes effective August 1, 2026. 2. Explain how the updated common interest community forms affect association document disclosure, maintenance plan requirements, and buyer rescission rights. 3. Recognize when the new or revised disclosure forms may be needed, including the Solar Power System Disclosure and Agent Material Fact Disclosure. 4. Apply revised terminology and timing language correctly, including “well water inspection” language and Sale of Buyer’s Property contingency deadlines based on final acceptance. 5. Evaluate transaction scenarios to determine which updated forms, addenda, disclosures, or amendments should be used to better document the parties’ agreement and reduce risk.
