Consumers are findingnew ways to obtain real estate information online, which can be detrimental ifit’s not accurate, and may change how they see the value of a REALTOR®. It alsoputs consumers at risk for cyber security issues. Technology has also changedwhat consumers are looking for in a home. At Tech Byte 2017, you will learn howto protect yourself and consumers from inaccurate information online andpotential cyber scams, and understand the smart home technology demand.

Speakers, Nobu Hata and Melanie McLane, will deliver informative sessions on various topics. Nobu Hata will speak about protecting buyers and sellers online, as well as understanding what consumers are looking for online in real estate. Melanie McLane will provide information about SmartHome Technology and overcoming inaccurate information consumers discover in their research, such as Zillow.
Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. and the first session will begin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided, and the day will wrap up at 4:00 p.m. with a happy hour to follow.

Registration: $49 - (over $130 value)

The courses offered at Tech Byte are approved by the MN Commissioner of Commerce for a total of 6 hours of Real Estate Continuing Education.
